Job summary

OnPoint Community Credit Union in Portland, OR is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Specialist II to perform mortgage loan servicing tasks, including payments, escrow analysis, tax and insurance handling, and loan setup and payoff processing.

You will balance and reconcile investor accounts, support daily investor reporting, respond to member requests, and ensure compliance with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA/VA guidelines and RESPA.

Qualifications

• Experience with mortgage servicing processes including payments, escrow, and payoff.
• Strong knowledge of investor guidelines (Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae) and federal regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to document and maintain customer records and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Conform with all applicable credit union policies and laws relating to mortgage servicing.
• Ensure first call resolution through problem solving and effective call handling.
• Create and maintain customer records with accurate call details and resolutions.
• Balance entries and reconcile investor accounts daily.
• Process payoffs and manage escrow accounts; review tax and insurance bills.
• Respond to member requests; assist with investor reporting and close procedures.
• Escalate issues to management when needed; follow scripts and procedures.
• Perform daily/monthly investor reporting tasks and reconciling edits.
