Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Specialist I in Grand Rapids, MI. This on-site role supports member inquiries related to mortgage servicing, payments, escrow, and online banking tools, working closely with teammates to deliver Five Star Service.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in customer service or banking, a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years combined experience in Customer Service, Banking and/or Mortgage.
• High School Diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Answer member inquiries from phone relating to mortgage servicing tasks.
• Process payments, payoffs, curtailments and update account information.
• Prepare routine letters and monthly billing statements; perform research as needed.
• Adhere to investor, federal and state regulations and CU policies.
