Job summary

West Michigan Credit Union in Grand Rapids is seeking a friendly Member Service Representative to assist members with lending needs and process applications. You’ll pull credit reports, help with underwriting documentation, and cross-sell appropriate products while delivering top-notch service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Lending experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with the loan application process.
• Pull credit reports and calculate the debt-to-income ratios.
• Prepare loan applications for underwriting and complete necessary documentation to fund or deny a request.
• Open memberships.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and recommend products and services.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of credit union products, accounts, policies and procedures.
