Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring for a Mortgage Servicing role in Troy, MI with a hybrid schedule after training. The training is on-site with shifts 9:30am–6pm; post-training options include 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.

Start tentative on 11/9 with pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.50 per hour, contract to hire upon performance. The role handles 45–60 inbound calls daily, addressing mortgage servicing questions, escrow, and insurance, while documenting interactions accurately and meeting quality

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent customer service experience (call center preferred).
• Efficient in using a Windows PC and navigating multiple software systems.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.
• Good verbal and written communication skills for phone and email follow-ups.
• Reliable internet connection for remote training and work.

Responsibilities

• Handle approximately 45-60 inbound calls per day with 2–7 minute average duration.
• Primary contact for mortgage servicing inquiries from borrowers, agents, and institutions.
• Answer questions on mortgage payments, escrow, and homeowners insurance.
• Research inquiries across systems and document interactions per policies.
• Provide timely, accurate service meeting quality, productivity, and compliance standards.
• Resolve concerns using problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Navigate multiple applications while maintaining accuracy and customer focus.
• Communicate effectively with borrowers, insurers, and financial institutions.
