Alabama Credit Union is seeking an experienced mortgage servicing analyst to perform advanced mortgage servicing functions, including file auditing, mortgage funding, closing and post-closing operations, escrow administration, and loan modifications.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or GED.
• Experience: 3–5 years in a financial institution; 3 years in consumer/mortgage lending preferred (processing, underwriting, or booking loans).
• Two+ years in title insurance industry acceptable in lieu of lending experience.
• Interpersonal: Courtesy, tact and diplomacy; strong communication; able to coordinate information between members and loan officers.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced mortgage servicing functions: file auditing, mortgage funding, closing and post-closing operations, escrow administration, loan modifications, and compliance monitoring.
• Review loan files, resolve title-related issues, ensure funding accuracy, and support regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to analyze issues and drive process improvements; deliver excellent member experience.
