Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Production Manager I to support our retail operations in Colorado. This role ensures loan file completeness, adherence to underwriting standards, and timely, compliant processing. It also oversees an originator support team and escalated loan issues.

The position emphasizes pipeline management, collaboration with originators, underwriters, and clients, and ongoing process improvement to boost efficiency and compliance in a fast-paced mortgage environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to three years total experience as a high performing Loan Officer Assistant.
• Active state-specific NMLS license required.
• Expert knowledge of mortgage business, including processes, controls, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and urgency.
• Ethical with a commitment to company values.

Responsibilities

• Review files for underwriting standards and submission completeness.
• Contact borrowers or brokers to collect documentation and liaise between staff, underwriters, and customers.
• Monitor loan pipeline and assign tasks to originator teams.
• Lead a team handling day-to-day origination support and data entry.
• Train and assign workload to origination support staff; manage schedules.
• Monitor department performance metrics to maximize productivity and compliance.
• Build relationships with realtors to generate leads and improve service.
• Ensure regular client meetings and status updates throughout loan cycle.
• Provide recommendations to improve procedures and reduce errors.
• Maintain a positive department culture and facilitate information sharing.
