Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking an Originating Loan Officer Assistant to support originators in building complete loan files for submission. You will consult with clients to understand financial goals, educate on mortgage products, and collect required documentation while ensuring compliance with lending guidelines.

You will collaborate with underwriters, processors, and realtors to streamline the loan process, submit packages, and monitor approvals.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum two years in mortgage lending or related field.
Certifications/Licenses: NMLS required.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to assess mortgage eligibility.
Educate clients on mortgage products, terms, and options.
Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and collecting documents.
Develop relationships with referral sources to generate loan prospects.
Collaborate with underwriters, processors, realtors, and lenders to facilitate loan approvals.
Submit complete loan packages to processing and lock in rates.
Provide marketing support and maintain client databases.
Stay current with lending regulations and mortgage guidelines.
