Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract-based Support Specialist to assist Loan Officers and members through the mortgage application process. You will gather documentation, review information, and help ensure loans move smoothly from application to approval.

The role involves a mix of phone-based and administrative work, with substantial member contact and collaboration with Loan Officers to drive timely outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort working with technology and navigating multiple systems.
• Experience in mortgage, banking, financial services, or administrative support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Loan Officers and members throughout the mortgage process.
• Collect and review required loan documentation.
• Follow up with members to obtain missing information and paperwork.
• Assist with loan applications from pre-application through processing.
• Calculate income and review asset statements to support loan eligibility.
• Update and maintain loan information in internal systems.
• Manage a pipeline of approximately 45-60 loan applications, with higher volumes during peak periods.
• Communicate with members by phone and through virtual channels to provide updates and answer questions.
