Job summary

OnPoint Community Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer for Outside Sales in Central Oregon. You will build and manage a pipeline of member relationships and originate mortgage loans through community connections, with a focus on partnering with real estate professionals.

The role emphasizes expert knowledge of lending programs, compliance, and customer service, with compensation tied to sales performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Conventional and FHA-insured real estate lending experience.
• 100% commission-based role.
• Knowledge of processing underwriting and/or closing procedures.
• Excellent communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, develops and maintains a quality pipeline of member relationships for mortgage lending opportunities.
• Develops relationships within the community, especially with real estate partners, to attract loan originations.
• Conducts borrower interviews to analyze financials and credit reports, advising on product pricing and gathering required information.
• Maintains knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure exceptional member service.
