Job summary

Security Home Mortgage, a leading regional mortgage lender, is seeking full-time seasoned Mortgage Loan Officers in Orem, UT. You will originate and close residential loans, cultivate realtor and builder partnerships, and actively participate in partner sales meetings and events.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2+ years of Mortgage Loan Officer experience, an existing referral network, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. This is a commission-based role with full operational support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One-year total experience in Mortgage lending or related field preferred.
• Active NMLS Registration required.
• Strong judgment and analytical ability to evaluate data and risks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with data entry and office software.
• Ethical and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Originate and close real estate mortgage loans that meet guidelines.
• Review applicants' financials and explain loan structures.
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors and referral sources.
• Meet monthly production goals and collaborate with the marketing team.
• Coordinate with Secondary Marketing for proper rate locks.
• Provide feedback on products and pricing in the real estate market.
• Attend meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
