Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of in-person mortgage origination experience with a solid book of business.
• Experience in a commission-based origination role.
• Knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional mortgage loan programs.
• Experience with Ellie Mae mortgage origination software.
• Able to work from home office with limited supervision.
• Ability to review and understand credit reports.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate high quality loans that meet FCMC guidelines.
• Develop relationships with local Real Estate agents and builders.
• Manage territory and train staff on mortgage loan basics.
• Develop contacts with banks partner store management team.
• Take customer loan applications and pull credit.
• Conduct presentations to First Time Home Buyer Seminars and realtor meetings.
• Communicate with borrowers and real estate agents through the loan process.
• Explain pre-qualification letters and disclosures to borrowers.
