PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital Company, is seeking an Associate Originator in California to support loan origination activities and client engagement. You will promote products, manage relationships with realtors and builders, and help move loans from application to closing with guidance from the Lead Originator.

The role emphasizes client communication, data gathering for loan analysis, and staying informed about private and government mortgage guidelines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and appropriate licenses as required by state.
Minimum 6 months loan originator experience.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to assess and process large amounts of data and use AU software technology.
Active involvement in the community to expand beneficial contacts.

Responsibilities

Markets and promotes PrimeLending financial products.
Establishes and maintains relationships with realtors, builders and others to develop business.
Handles loan volume in a timely and efficient manner under team guidance.
Monitors customer interactions from application to closing and guides pre-qualification.
Collects income, assets, investments, and debt information for loan analysis.
Schedules appointments and communicates loan status to stakeholders.
Negotiates terms with customers and stays updated on mortgage guidelines.
Maintains professional image and adheres to company policies.
