Job summary

PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital Company®, seeks a Mortgage Loan Originator in California. You will market loan products to realtors, builders and clients, manage loans from application to closing, and ensure accurate documentation and timely communication with all parties.

You will evaluate borrower needs, qualify applicants, and maintain relationships in the local real estate market while meeting production standards and policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and licenses as required by state.
• 12 months loan originator experience.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Ability to assess data and use loan origination software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates PrimeLending's loan products to meet customer needs.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with realtors, builders and bank officers to develop business.
• Markets and promotes PrimeLending's financial products.
• Originators are expected to meet minimum production standards in funded units/volume.
• Monitors loan process from application to closing and communicates status to all parties.
