Job summary

PrimeLending, a PlainsCapital Company, is seeking an Associate Originator to support loan originators and manage client relationships in Westlake Village, CA. You will market PrimeLending products, qualify borrowers, gather documents, and coordinate from application to closing.

Responsibilities include visiting partners, handling loan volumes under guidance, and ensuring compliance with private and government insured mortgage guidelines while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and required state licenses.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Minimum 6 months loan originator experience.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to process large amounts of data and use AU software technology.

Responsibilities

• Markets and promotes PrimeLending financial products.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with realtors, builders and sales representatives.
• Handles loan volume under guidance of team lead/originator.
• Interacts with all parties from application to closing.
• Obtains and analyzes customer income, assets, debts.
• Schedules appointments with potential customers.
• Communicates loan status to all interested parties.
• Ensures compliance with mortgage guidelines.
