Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Sales Supervisor in Spokane, WA to lead a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators. You will drive loan origination, ensure timely document processing for underwriting and closing, and build referral relationships with brokers and builders.

You will also recruit talent, maintain NMLS registration, and stay aligned with industry regulations. A focus on collaboration across mortgage teams and strong customer relations will be expected to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of mortgage sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day loan origination activities for a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Ensure documents for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner from sources.
• Meet annual loan origination goals established by upper management.
• Establish referral source relationships with real estate brokers, builders and other external sources.
• Participate in local/state mortgage banking and realtor/trade associations and stay informed on industry issues.
• Collaborate with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage and other lines to grow customer relationships and product sales.
• Interview and recruit new talent; retain employees through development and engagement.
• Maintain NMLS registration under SAFE Act and complete background/credit checks.
