Job summary

CommunityAmerica Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Outside Sales Assistant to support the origination and closing of mortgage loans for the assigned outbound loan officer. You will ensure compliance with policies and state/federal regulations and assist in data entry and documentation collection.

The role emphasizes assessing members' financial needs, selecting appropriate mortgage products, and collaborating with title companies to obtain preliminary costs.

Qualifications

• Mortgage origination experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of real estate law and title concepts.
• Understanding of mortgage regulations (Regulations B, C, X, Z) and Fair Housing/FACT.
• NMLS registration or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mortgage loan origination and assist in closing.
• Enter data in the origination system and collect member documents.
• Assess member financial needs and suitable mortgage products.
• Support cross-selling of the credit union's financial products.
• Liaise with title companies for preliminary costs and disclosures.
