Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks an Associate MERS Member Operations Analyst to process and classify electronic mortgage documents on-site in a fast-paced environment interacting daily with the MERS Mail Processing Department. This role reports to the Manager of MERS Mail Processing.

You will research, index, and route documents, ensure privacy, and work closely with MERS Mail Processing. Prior mortgage exposure is preferred and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Mortgage/Legal industry knowledge preferred.
• Minimum 6 months mortgage or related experience preferred.
• Extensive problem-solving skills.
• Organizational skills and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TEAMS.

Responsibilities

• Research, classify, and process electronic mortgage/legal documents and route to appropriate MERS Members.
• Review scanned documents for clarity and accuracy.
• Identify, index, and categorize documents.
• Monitor discrepancies and report to relevant departments.
• Read and understand legal documents (lawsuits, foreclosure, eminent domain, bankruptcies).
• Research county/public records to determine lien positions and interests.
• Ensure correct delivery of documents via physical or electronic mail.
• Maintain data privacy while handling documents.
• Communicate effectively and work with minimal direction.
