Job summary

Freedom Mortgage in the United States is seeking a Loss Mit Doc II to review loss mitigation intake for all workout types on all loan types and to assist with the inbox as needed depending on borrower activity.

You will maintain documentation, upload to EDMS, issue missing items letters, and coordinate with Underwriting, Mediations, Litigation, Foreclosure and SPOC teams to keep files moving within required timelines.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience as LM Document Specialist or equivalent.
• Proficient in Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of various file formats.
• Experience with mortgage documents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review all incoming documents from borrowers.
• Notate system of record with documents received and items needed.
• Upload documentation into Tempo to ensure it’s loaded into the system of record (EDMS).
• Issue letters to borrowers advising what items are still needed to send file to Underwriting.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Mediations, Litigation, Foreclosure and SPOC teams on file statuses.
• Ensure compliance with established timelines and quality decisions for each file assigned.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Familiar with mortgage documents strongly preferred.
