Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Loss Mitigation Intake Coordinator to manage the initial intake, collect financial documents, and assess eligibility for loss mitigation programs. You will work with the Loss Mitigation team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant reviews, maintain records, and guide customers through the mitigation process while upholding CFPB and investor guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in Loss Mitigation, mortgage servicing or related field.
• Ability to work well independently or within a team.
• Must handle confidential matters with discretion.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with accurate data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.

Responsibilities

• Request and gather supporting documentation to create complete loan workout packages within required timeframes, ensuring compliance with investor, insurer, state, federal, and CFPB guidelines.
• Enter and upload documents to the BLITZ/AIQ document repository.
• Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure the decision process is completed on time and in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and guiding customers through the loss mitigation process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and documentation.
• Stay current on industry regulations and recommend updates to internal policies and procedures.
