Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC (CCM) is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support our mortgage loan officers in daily duties and to help increase loan production. You will work directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and timely closings.

This role requires a minimum of 1 year mortgage-related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of mortgage-related experience with customer contact.
• Previous sales support experience preferred.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation.
• Review loan disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages and deliver them to the borrower.
• Review documents and entire loan files and highlight deficiencies to the loan officer/processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain additional information via phone or email.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors, as needed.
• Assist in managing lending and processing in various stages as needed.
• Assist in managing a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and related loans (including 203K and reverse mortgages).
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
• Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up for documentation.
• Facilitate timely loan closings by coordinating with Title Company and customer.
