This full-time role focuses on reviewing files, identifying deficiencies, negotiating recoveries, and reporting metrics to senior management.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and experience with Encompass and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Manage repurchases flagged for compliance violations and ensure timely resolution and recovery.
• Investigate loan files, appeal repurchases, negotiate recovery and settlements.
• Analyze seller's performance. Determine root cause and remediation standards required by HUD, Fannie Mae and VA.
• Collaborate with legal, underwriting, sales team, Controller.
• Provide weekly status reports with recommendations to senior management.
• Develop actionable recommendations to prevent future loan defects and losses.
• Collaborate in monthly meetings providing metrics and recovery amounts.
• Manage and enforce compliance standards and procedures.
• Position Description: Protect the company from compliance-related risk and financial loss by managing loan repurchases, conducting detailed file reviews, identifying operational deficiencies, and driving remediation efforts.
