Triangle Federal Credit Union in Columbus, MS seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor to guide members through the residential mortgage process from application to closing.

The role requires strong knowledge of mortgage guidelines, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance; the processor is the main contact for members and coordinates appraisals, title work, and disclosures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mortgage loan processing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate/bachelor’s preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Experience with MeridianLink or similar LOS.
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulations and compliance.

Responsabilités

• Process residential mortgage loans from application through closing.
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Coordinate with members to obtain required documentation and provide status updates.
• Order and monitor appraisals, title work, and other verifications.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting and monitor progress toward closing.
• Maintain accurate loan records in the LOS and ensure disclosures are correct.
• Ensure TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, ECOA, and related compliance compliance.
