Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; finance/ business degree preferred.
• 2+ years in mortgage loan operations or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Clear, professional communication and member-focused service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage applications for completeness and accuracy before underwriting.
• Verify income, employment, assets, and credit per guidelines.
• Order and track verifications of employment or deposits.
• Coordinate with loan officers to obtain missing documents.
• Prepare and update loan files in the origination system.
• Review and clear underwriting conditions within deadlines.
• Maintain detailed records and monitor pipeline to meet SLAs.
• Stay informed on mortgage products, investor requirements, and regs.
• Support process improvements to boost efficiency and member satisfaction.
