Northrim Bank in Anchorage, AK seeks a Mortgage Loan Processor to turn loan applications into closings. You’ll work with Loan Originators, Underwriters, and borrowers to ensure every file is complete, compliant, and ready to cross the finish line.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service, and a solid understanding of real estate documentation, loan policies, and multi-file management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of loan processing experience preferred.
• Mortgage industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify borrower information and resolve discrepancies.
• Order credit reports, appraisals, and title work.
• Prepare and submit loan files to Underwriting for approval.
• Update loan systems based on underwriting decisions and status changes.
• Communicate with customers about loan status and timelines.
• Maintain documentation and ensure timely follow-up on conditions.
