Job summary

Old West Federal Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to provide professional service to members and support efficient loan operations. You will educate members, collect and verify documents, and prepare loan packages for underwriting.

The role requires accuracy, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with loan officers across branches, while maintaining compliance with lending regulations and credit union policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of member/customer service, teller, or retail experience required.
• Bondable and valid driver’s license required.
• Travel to other branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to borrowers, co-workers, and members with high accuracy.
• Educate members on products, services and eligibility.
• Review and verify required financial documentation (tax returns, appraisals, credit reports).
• Input loan applications into systems (LaserPro/Symitar/LoanVantage) and order supporting materials.
• Collaborate with loan officers to prepare packages for underwriting and approval.
• Assist borrowers in resolving loan application issues promptly.
• Manage post-close processes, checklists, audits, and loan compliance.
• Process loan renewals and track statuses.
