Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor I in Minnesota to review applications, prepare disclosures, and coordinate with underwriting and closing teams. The role supports the Residential Loan Consultant and other departments to keep loans moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or financial institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and standard industry guidelines.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with state and federal lending regulations (RESPA, Reg Z, ECOA, State Fair Lending).
• Must be in good standing under the Safe Act and registered/licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.

Responsibilities

• Review all new loan applications to ensure required forms/documentation are provided.
• Prepare and send regulatory disclosures within required timeframes.
• Review new loan files and input information in the system.
• Open/order verifications and assemble items needed for credit decisions.
• Input data for processing of conventional mortgages for single-family homes.
• Send requests for verification of deposit, employment, and mortgage as applicable.
• Support Residential Loan Consultant, underwriting, and closing departments; answer borrower/status inquiries.
• Assist supervisor with weekly pipeline planning.
• Support CRA and Equal Employment Opportunity programs.
