Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor I to join our residential mortgage team in a fast-paced environment.

You will review loan applications, prepare disclosures, and coordinate with underwriting and closing departments to move files toward closing. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, accurate data entry, and proactive communication with borrowers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of loan processing experience in a mortgage banking company or financial institution.
• Experience with FNMA/FHLMC guidelines and standard industry guidelines.
• Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations (e.g. RESPA, Reg Z, ECOA, State Fair Lending).
• Must be in good standing under the Safe Act and registered/licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.

Responsibilities

• Review new loan applications to ensure required forms and documentation are provided.
• Prepare disclosures and send them within required timeframes.
• Open and order verifications needed for credit decisions and coordinate with escrow, title, and appraisal teams.
• Input data for processing conventional single-family mortgage loans.
• Support Residential Loan Consultant, underwriting, and closing departments throughout processing.
