Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Understanding of mortgage loan processing functions, including FHA/VA and conventional lending.
• Knowledge of mortgage related requirements, procedures, and underwriting criteria.
• One to two years of related mortgage lending experience.
• Good verbal and public relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support for all phases of mortgage loan activities.
• Review new loan applications and prepare conditional loan approvals.
• Order appraisals, credit reports, and title reports; verify employment, salary, assets, and liabilities.
• Communicate loan status to buyers, sellers, realtors, and title company representatives.
• Prepare files for closing and maintain accurate records.
