Job summary

Texana Bank is seeking a Mortgage Operations professional to perform initial appraisal and assess borrower credit by reviewing applications and interviewing applicants. You will coordinate with underwriting and closing teams while ensuring compliance with lending rules.

Prior experience with conventional, VA, and FHA loans is preferred, with strong communication and sales skills. The role is full-time, hourly non-exempt, based in Keller, Texas, reporting to the Mortgage Processing Manager.

Qualifications

• Post-TRID knowledge is required.
• Experience processing conventional, VA and FHA loans preferred.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, explore loan options, and review files for completeness.
• Verify accuracy of system input and analyze file for program applicability.
• Review documentation such as income/asset documents, credit reports, appraisals.
• Coordinate submission to underwriting and satisfaction of closing conditions.
• Provide updates to loan officers, borrowers, and agents; ensure compliance with regulations.
