Job summary

Go Rascal, Inc. is seeking an experienced Loan Processor (Loan Partner 3) to own and manage the loan pipeline from initial intake through funding.

You will work closely with Loan Officers, underwriters, and borrowers to ensure timely, accurate underwriting submissions and smooth closings. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mortgage processing experience.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accountability.
• Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with accuracy.
• Proactive self-starter who can work independently and move things forward.
• Coachable and able to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Underwrite: review loans within one business day, submit to underwriting within three days, aim for 10 conditions or fewer.
• Post-Underwrite: review CLAs, translate conditions, maintain two-touch to Clear-to-Close, share best practices.
• Post-Fund: monitor funding, respond to post-funding issues, clear post-funding conditions.
• Additional Responsibilities: improve submission checklists, attend weekly meetings, log communications in LOS.
