Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Consultant in West Chester, OH to originate residential loans from application to closing. You will develop referral networks, master origination processes, and maintain policy knowledge while delivering strong customer service.

You will handle rate quotes, pricing, and documentation, manage a loan pipeline, and participate in ongoing training and meetings to meet One Bank goals and ensure a positive customer experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Proven computer skills.
• Basic sales technique skills.

• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

Responsabilidades

• Develop internal and external referral contacts (realtors, builders, professionals, COIs, and personal).
• Learn all aspects of the mortgage loan originator role including processing, underwriting, closing, and pricing.
• Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage policies, products, and guidelines.
• Complete all required training on time.
• Escalate underwriting and pricing exceptions per protocol.
• Take applications by completing URLA on laptop.
• Use technology to access daily rates, credit reports, and loan file origination.
• Collect documentation and deliver loan packages within management time frames.
• Manage pipeline for all originated loans through closing and report status to branches.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and manage expectations.
• Attend Mortgage and Consumer Lending meetings and training.
• Collect application fees per policy.
• Refer opportunities within One Bank to other lines of business.
