Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
• Knowledge of mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Knowledge of federal lending regulations.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS required.

Responsibilities

• Develop referral contacts with realtors, builders, and other professionals.
• Maintain knowledge of mortgage policies, procedures, and loan products.
• Follow protocol for escalation and complete loan application forms (Fannie Mae 1003).
• Manage loan pipeline through closing and reporting to management.
• Provide timely updates to branches and applicants; maintain customer service standards.
• Attend Consumer Lending meetings as required.
