Job summary

You will originate and promote Community Lending Loans, coordinate with the mortgage dept, and develop referrals from agents, builders, and customers.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of agency mortgage experience, NMLS certification, and solid knowledge of guidelines and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience originating agency eligible mortgage loans.
• Thorough knowledge of government and conventional mortgage loan guidelines.
• Ability to analyze documentation for accuracy and eligibility.
• Knowledge of appraisal standards and acceptability.
• Ability to disclose and process applications in compliance with regulations.
• Ability to work with a diverse borrower base and housing entities.

Responsibilities

• Determine the best loan product for customer
• Devise marketing plans to seek referrals from agents and builders
• Provide guidance for loan inquiries related to pricing and required documents
• Complete applications and gather documents for applicable loan types (FHA, VA, Conventional, portfolio)
• Develop referrals from internal and external sources and maintain realtor relationships
• Originate and promote Trustmark’s Community Lending Loans and Products
• Coordinate and assist the mortgage department in origination and servicing of Community lending products
