Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator who will originate high quality residential mortgages across the United States.

Base pay is $17.75/hour (minimum wage state/county requirements) with an uncapped commission plan; actual starting pay and total earnings vary by geographic location, experience, skills, and education. This commission-eligible role offers strong earning potential and opportunities to build a long-term pipeline.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience or retail lending.

Responsibilities

• Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine preliminary home loan eligibility and recommend mortgage products within the customer's budget.
• Consult with customers about current and future needs to help them achieve their financial goals while providing the best possible customer service.
• Stay informed of available loan types and other financial services to better meet customers' needs; identify lending solutions based on homeownership goals.
• Manage leads actively and meet minimum conversion targets and build a network of real estate agent partners.

Compensation & Earning Potential

Base pay is one part of our total compensation for Mortgage Loan Originators. The base pay for this role is $17.75/hour (determined by minimum wage state and county requirements); in addition to an uncapped commission plan.
