Job summary

Axos Bank is hiring a Premier Banker in San Diego to manage a portfolio of Premier client deposits, drive cross-sell opportunities, and deliver solutions across deposits, loans and treasury products. You will grow relationships, retain deposits, and participate in rate discussions to sustain Axos as the client’s primary bank.

This role requires a minimum of 2+ years banking experience in relationship management or sales, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Premier client deposit relationships with focus on balance growth and portfolio profitability.
• Protect and retain client deposits through proactive outreach and tailored pricing discussions.
• Act as a trusted financial partner by recommending deposit, lending and treasury solutions.
• Generate new business through referrals, inquiries and outreach, including opening new accounts.
• Cross-sell products and services aligned to client goals.
• Maintain long-term client relationships with responsive service and issue resolution.
• Lead rate discussions and deliver value to reinforce Axos as primary banking relationship.
• Cross-sell based on client financial needs and additional funding requests.

This is a commission eligible role.

Axos Bank is hiring a Premier Banker who is responsible for driving cross‑sell services, products and features with new and existing customer including of other business verticals with the objective to promote bank’s products and contribute to the department and enterprise goals and objectives.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Premier client deposit relationships, with a strong focus on balance growth, fund retention, and overall portfolio profitability.


• Actively protect and retain client deposits through proactive engagement, timely outreach, and tailored pricing or solution discussions when balances are at risk.


• Serve as a trusted financial partner by understanding clients’ financial needs and recommending appropriate deposit, lending, and treasury solutions.


• Generate new business through referrals, inbound requests, and targeted outreach, including opening new accounts and ensuring timely funding.


• Deepen existing relationships through thoughtful cross‑selling of relevant bank products and services aligned to client goals.


• Maintain strong, long‑term client relationships by delivering responsive service, resolving inquiries, and addressing escalations promptly.


• Retain and expand existing business by leading rate discussions, addressing client concerns, and consistently delivering value that reinforces Axos as the client’s primary banking relationship.


• Cross-sell products and services to customers based on their financial needs alongside asking for additional funds.


• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
