About This Job

Axos Bank has invested in a sophisticated, data‑driven digital acquisition engine that sets us apart from other financial institutions, one that unifies audience intelligence across paid media channels to generate high‑quality consumer Digital DTC leads and drive loan originations across our full lending suite, with home loans at the core. This role sits at the center of that engine. The Digital Channel Optimization Manager is responsible for maximizing the volume and quality of borrower leads that fuel Axos's direct‑to‑consumer loan origination pipeline, spanning home loans, personal loans, auto loans, and every other loan product we service and offer. You'll manage affiliate partnerships, oversee paid media buying execution, and serve as the operational owner of our audience intelligence platform, translating audience data into real‑time targeting, suppression, and retargeting decisions that directly impact lead volume, funded loan volume, and cost per funded loan. This is a hands‑on, outcomes‑oriented role for someone who thinks in terms of cost‑per‑lead, lead‑to‑application conversion, and borrower intent, not impressions and reach.

Responsibilities
  • Manage CDP audience tagging operations, including badge configuration, audience development, platform integrations, data governance, and audience match rate optimization
  • Support CDP and Salesforce Data Cloud integrations, ensuring accurate borrower signal capture, attribution tracking, UTM governance, and reporting integrity
  • Develop and activate audience strategies for targeting, suppression, retargeting, personalization, lead nurturing, and cross‑sell initiatives across loan products
  • Identify, negotiate, onboard, and manage affiliate, referral, co‑marketing, and business development partnerships to expand borrower acquisition channels
  • Ensure affiliate compliance, brand standards, and performance optimization across all partner programs and placements
  • Coordinate campaign execution and vendor relationships across Google, Meta, MNTN, LinkedIn, agencies, and emerging channels
  • Monitor channel performance, optimize budgets, and improve lead generation, conversion rates, and cost efficiency across the lending portfolio
  • Own lead generation and loan origination reporting, including attribution models, cost‑per‑lead, cost‑per‑funded‑loan metrics, and executive performance insights
  • Partner with Marketing Technology and Engineering teams to expand CDP capabilities, borrower intent scoring, audience segmentation, and personalization initiatives
  • Apply conversion rate optimization strategies, including audience analysis, landing page testing, funnel diagnostics, and campaign experimentation
  • Plan and execute webinars, email nurture programs, lifecycle campaigns, and geo‑targeted marketing initiatives to drive qualified loan demand
  • Provide regular performance analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to improve borrower acquisition, lead quality, and funded loan growth
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing preferred
  • 4–7+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, MarTech, or demand generation, with hands‑on expertise in affiliate marketing, media buying, data platforms, or audience management.
  • Experience with CDPs, tag management systems, audience intelligence platforms, and marketing automation tools (e.g., Tealium, Segment, Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, audience targeting, attribution tracking, UTM governance, and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret funnel performance, identify optimization opportunities, and improve conversion rates.
  • Experience managing lead generation programs, webinars, email nurture campaigns, paid search, geo‑targeted marketing, and demand generation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of CRO, growth marketing, audience segmentation, and testing methodologies to improve customer acquisition performance.
  • Proven success developing affiliate, referral, co‑marketing, or business development partnerships that drive pipeline growth.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience operating in regulated industries, preferably financial services, banking, fintech, mortgage lending, or consumer lending.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Tableau, CTV platforms, Adobe Target, and other modern marketing technology solutions is preferred.

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year)
