Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company in Oregon seeks a Loan Officer to handle origination processing, disclosures, and liaison duties between borrowers and underwriters. You will gather documents, review files for underwriting, and ensure timely submission.

You will educate clients on mortgage options, answer rate queries, and build a referral network while delivering exceptional service. This role is office-based with standard weekday schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
• NMLS License required.

Responsibilities

• Consult clients to assess financial goals and mortgage eligibility.
• Educate clients on mortgage products, terms, and options.
• Answer inquiries on rates, products, and application status.
• Assist clients with applications and gather required documentation.
• Develop relationships to generate loan prospects.
• Coordinate with underwriting, processors, realtors, and lenders to enable loan approval.
• Deliver excellent customer service and keep clients informed throughout the process.
• Stay current with industry regulations and lending guidelines.
