Job summary

Regions Bank in Nashville, Tennessee, seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans through a regional branch network. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of mortgage lending experience preferred.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates progress and required documents.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops marketing plan and builds relationships with potential/ existing customers and partners.
