Regions Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans through a branch network and build relations with referral partners in Illinois. You will handle applications, evaluate credit, and maintain customer communication throughout the process.

The role is commission-based with potential total compensation from the mid to high end, depending on location and performance. Requires NMLS registration and a valid mortgage production track record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven mortgage production experience.
• Ability to develop external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests and analyzes financial data and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates progress.
• Structures loan to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services.
