Job summary

The role offers a commission-based plan with potential for substantial earnings based on performance, location, and production. Primary responsibilities include meeting regulatory guidelines and developing new business through referrals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of mortgage lending experience with proven mortgage production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).

Responsibilities

• Complete mortgage applications for submission to processing and underwriting.
• Evaluate loan requests, analyze financial data, and determine qualification of collateral and customer credit history.
• Maintain contact with loan customers, communicating progress and obtaining required documents.
• Structure loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develop marketing/business plans including realtors, builders, developers, and contact frequency.
• Answer calls and walk-in customers to discuss loan products and qualification information.
• Cross-sell other bank products and services.
• Read surveys and appraisals and take steps to correct issues.
• Participate in networking to promote and market loan products.
