Citizens Bank is hiring dedicated Mortgage Loan Officers who proactively identify, build and maintain a quality network of business relationships that serves as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities. External relationships are the cornerstone of generating new business.

You will interview customers to determine loan needs and advise on products, terms and pricing while gathering required information and ensuring complete mortgage applications meet procedures and sales

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in residential mortgage sales.
• Two plus years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
• Documented residential mortgage loan volume in the past 12 months of $8 million (minimum).
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a broad range of audiences.
• Strong computer skills and experience using laptop technology.
• Must meet SAFE Act background checks and obtain a Unique Identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Interview new and existing customers to determine loan needs and advise on appropriate products, terms and pricing.
• Generate complete mortgage applications while ensuring procedures are followed and compliance is maintained.
• Meet and contribute to sales goals by building a robust book of business and expanding customer relationships.
