Legence Bank in Carbondale, IL is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to process applications, underwrite loans, and close mortgage transactions. You will develop new business and service an existing loan portfolio.

You will advise borrowers on financial options, build relationships with realtors and community partners, and collaborate with branch teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Three (3) years of Mortgage Lending Experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to Quickly Learn New Software.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Take mortgage applications and underwrite loans.
• Close mortgage transactions per policy and guidelines.
• Develop new business and service an existing loan portfolio.
• Advise borrowers on questions related to their financial status.
• Collaborate with branches and other departments to offer Legence Bank products.
