Housing New Mexico | MFA seeks a detail‑oriented professional to serve as the primary liaison between lenders and business partners. The role performs lock desk activities and supports DPA loan programs, tracking, reporting, training, and communication with all related parties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 2 years mortgage lending experience preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with mortgage loan servicing or purchasing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lock loans per Housing New Mexico | MFA guidelines.
• Manage and maintain the To Be Announced (TBA) and Bond Rate Lock Expirations.
• Communicate to business partners the status of lock expiration based on the loan stage.
• Manage the single-family email box; handle loan amount changes, program changes and extensions as requested.
• Clear post-close/pre-purchase conditions with business partners as needed.
• Answer inquiries from borrowers and business partners.
• Monthly reconciliation of late fees.
• Prepare and reconcile annual, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Provide back-up support as assigned.
• Comply with safety regulations, procedures and protocols.
