Job summary

Metroplex Mortgage Services seeks a Mortgage Loan Coordinator (Loan Partner) in Tampa to guide borrowers from application to closing with a focus on accuracy, organization, and customer service. This is an in-office role with training and support for building a long-term mortgage operations career.

Ideal candidates bring organization, a service mindset, and strong communication skills; mortgage experience helps but is not required.

Qualifications

Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records throughout the loan process.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with borrowers, realtors, and team members.
Comfortable using computers, email, and web-based systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently.

Responsibilities

Assist loan officers by gathering documentation and reviewing loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
Communicate proactively with clients and realtors to provide updates and gather necessary documentation.
Coordinate with underwriters and processors to facilitate smooth and timely loan processing.
Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial.
Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from origination to close.
Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application.
