Job summary

Metroplex Mortgage Services seeks a Mortgage Loan Coordinator (Loan Partner) in Tampa to guide borrowers from application to closing with a focus on accuracy, organization, and customer service. This is an in-office role with training and support for building a long-term mortgage operations career.

Ideal candidates bring organization, a service mindset, and strong communication skills; mortgage experience helps but is not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records throughout the loan process.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with borrowers, realtors, and team members.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and web-based systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently.

Responsibilities

• Assist loan officers by gathering documentation and reviewing loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate proactively with clients and realtors to provide updates and gather necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with underwriters and processors to facilitate smooth and timely loan processing.
• Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial.
• Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system - from origination to close.
• Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application.

Metroplex Mortgage Services is seeking a Mortgage Loan Coordinator (Loan Partner) to help guide borrowers through the mortgage process from application to closing.

We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable on the phone, and committed to providing an outstanding customer experience. Mortgage experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate. We provide training and support for individuals looking to build a long-term career in mortgage operations.

Successful team members may advance into Loan Officer Assistant, Processing, Operations, or Production roles as the company continues to grow.

This is a full-time, in-office position located at 8622 N Himes Avenue in Tampa, Florida. Metroplex offers health benefits, a 401(k), paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth. Base salary plus performance incentives. Expected annual compensation ranges from $40,000 to $50,000 based on experience and performance.

Ideal candidates may come from banking, insurance, customer service, real estate, title, hospitality, retail management, administrative support, or mortgage backgrounds.
