Job summary

Heritage Family Credit Union in Vermont is seeking a Mortgage Loan Coordinator to support processing, closing, and funding of residential loans in accordance with guidelines. You will issue disclosures, order reports, prepare closing documents, and ensure timely funding.

You will serve as the hub of communication among borrowers, Mortgage Loan Officers, attorneys, and settlement partners, maintaining accuracy and compliance as loans move from application to funding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous mortgage experience or loan records experience preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, multi-tasking, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and timely with borrowers and parties to ensure a positive experience.
• Prepare and track disclosures for mortgage and home equity loans from application through closing.
• Review borrower docs and third‑party reports to ensure conditions are satisfied prior to closing.
• Review loan files before closing to confirm processing conditions are met.
• Coordinate accurate closing documents and funding, including wires and system updates.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and mortgage lending requirements.
• Maintain predictable attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
