Job summary

Guild Mortgage is seeking a Loan Officer to build relationships with borrowers and drive loan production. You will manage the origination process, ensure documentation completeness, and coordinate with underwriting, processors, and customers to deliver timely closings.

You will provide expert guidance on loan options, maintain client communication, and stay current with lending guidelines. This role emphasizes customer service, compliance, and achieving monthly loan goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field.
NMLS License.

Responsibilities

Conduct consultations with clients to assess eligibility for mortgage loans.
Educate clients on mortgage products, terms, and options.
Answer inquiries about rates, products, and loan status.
Assist clients in completing mortgage applications and collecting documentation.
Develop relationships with referral sources to generate loan prospects.
Collaborate with underwriting and processors to facilitate loan approvals.
Lock in rates and review disclosures for closing accuracy.
