Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage is seeking a Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to support mortgage loan officers in daily duties and help drive loan production. You will interact with customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a smooth experience and timely closings.

The role involves reviewing applications, preparing disclosures, managing a diverse pipeline (conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, reverse mortgage), and coordinating with title and borrowers to finalize closings.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license or commitment to obtain NMLS.
• Minimum 1 year of mortgage-related experience with customer contact.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation.
• Review disclosure packages and deliver to borrowers.
• Create rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages for borrowers.
• Review loan files to identify deficiencies and notify the loan officer/processor.
• Clarify/correct information and obtain missing details via phone or email.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors.
• Support lending and processing in various stages as needed.
• Assist in managing pipelines for conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage products.
• Deliver appraisals and property valuations to borrowers; obtain receipts.
• Track outstanding items and follow up to ensure timely documentation.
• Coordinate with Title Company and borrowers to schedule timely closings.
