First United Bank in Austin is seeking a Mortgage Loan Assistant to help originate and close mortgage loans. You will prepare and review applications, verify documents, and coordinate with borrowers and processing teams to keep loans moving toward funding.

In this role you will cross-sell bank products, pull and analyze credit, and determine suitable loan options while ensuring adherence to policies and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prefer one year experience in mortgage lending environment.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and take direction when needed.

Aufgaben

• Cross sells First United Bank products and services to borrowers and other customers.
• Works with assigned bank personnel to promote FUB in assigned markets.
• Takes thorough and complete loan applications; analyzes and pre-qualifies applicant information to determine viability of the client's desired loan program.
• Pulls credit, analyzes credit, and compares for accuracy with the mortgage borrower's statements and loan application.
• Assists in determining the correct loan options for the borrower based upon the applicant's present situation and plans.
• Assists in the submission of loan applications, preliminary income verification documents, preliminary asset verification documents, loan disclosures and required letters to processing.
• Meets production standards and attends production meetings as necessary.
• Provides exceptional customer service and ensures compliance with all borrower requirements.
