Job summary

Flat Branch Mortgage Inc is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support Senior Mortgage Bankers in originating residential loans. You will manage data processing, document review, and timely workflow to maximize efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to protocols.

The role involves collaboration with Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and other teams, plus engagement with clients and referral partners. Strong detal and communication skills are essential, with occasional travel expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with mortgage loans is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Experience working with vendors or contractors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Mortgage Banker(s) in loan origination processes.
• Collaborate with Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Post-Closing, Shipping and Secondary teams.
• Assist with data entry, document collection, labeling, and uploading into Encompass.
• Facilitate credit pulls and run DU/LP and GUS through LOS.
• Set appointments and coordinate business-related gatherings.
• Develop strategies to build client relationships and drive business development.
